Synopsis

In 1944, at the end of the Japanese colonial period, Korean film director Choi Yangjoong was suddenly murdered while writing his new film, A Time of Murder and
Creation. And his unfinished scenario disappears together, leaving only mysterious
rumors.
Soyun, a female mystery writer, is seeking advice on a book from a Japanese mystery writer, Noritsuki Kiyoshi,
whom she usually travels with as a writer ahead of the release of a new work, and receives an offer from
Chan-geun to cooperate with the investigation.
Interested in the fact that the suspects are all Koreans and that they are young elites, Soyun is convinced that
her reasoning instinct will help find the real culprit, and promises to cooperate.
A few days later, Chan-geun summons eight suspects to a closed courtroom, and So-yoon also disguises
herself as one of the suspects and begins an investigation in secret.
A group of young Korean elites with various occupations such as dentists, fish dealers, cafe owners, telephone
operators, and architects gather together... and start claiming their alibi.
